  • Tour de Champagne will once again bring together Champagne from a variety of prestigious Champagne houses like Moët & Chandon, Ruinart and Perrier Jouet and cuisine from some of the city's most talented chefs. This year, the event will leave the hotel scene and head for the chic 103 West. In addition to a variety of top Atlanta restaurants, Tour de Champagne will feature a select group of Buckhead Life restaurants for the first time. The night also features a ‘silent auction' benefiting The Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia, live music, dessert ... and more.
Fin de Soirée for VIP ticket holders
  • The Fin de Soiree will take place upstairs at 103 West and will feature Champagne by Nicolas Feuillatte an assortment of artisanal cheeses from Georgia's own Flat Creek Lodge Dairy, a Chocolate Fondue Station provided by The Melting Pot, assorted pastries presented by Chocolate Pink and a crepe station by Cook Au Vin from Chicago.

Times to be announced at the event

HERVE PENNEQUIN, Wine Director of the new St. Regis Hotel in Buckhead and 3rd Best Sommelier in the World 2004, will Emcee this year's Atlanta event. Pennequin has been a professional sommelier for more than 20 years and is known worldwide. He regularly travels through wine regions on every continent to continually study and refine his craft.

Pennequin will also present a Sabering demonstration as part of the Chef's Stage series of events.

CHEF DOUG TURBUSH, Exectutive Chef of BluePointe will present a cooking demonstration as part of the Chef's Stage series of events.

Chef Turbush joined the Buckhead Life Restaburant Group in 1999 as chef tournant at Nava under Chef Kevin Rathbun and for the opening of Bluepointe. Shortly thereafter, he accepted the position of Sous Chef at Bluepointe, where he worked for two years under the direction of Chef Ian Winslade. He was promoted to Executive Chef at Nava in 2001, where he energized the kitchen with his passion for Latin and South American cuisine. At Nava, Chef Doug further developed his disciplined style, passion for bold flavors, fresh local ingredients and beautiful presentations -- all trademarks of his cooking at Bluepointe today.

Chef Turbush will prepare Green Tea & Citrus Seared Salmon with Tangerine Miso & Cucumber Salad. "This dish was inspired by a recent trip to Tokyo, and combines green Sencha tea with citrus rinds and a hint of Lapsang Souchong Tea, pressed on to the salmon and then pan seared. The sauce is made with shiro miso, mirin, sake and tangerine juice. Served with an acidic and refreshing pickled cucumber salad."

The Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Georgians with epilepsy/seizure disorders. Based in Atlanta, the Foundation focuses on: educating the professional and general community about epilepsy through annual symposiums and programs held throughout the state; providing outreach through a statewide network of support groups; and assisting in quality of life issues through specialty camps for children/adults and medical referrals and advocacy on behalf of all Georgians living with epilepsy.
